Who wants to taste some fine bourbon?!
On June 25th, our resident Bourbon Belle, Carson McKenna, will be doing a tasting of four delicious bourbons and one London gin (the gin’s been finished in a bourbon barrel—hence the purdy yellow color!). If you’ve always been curious about bourbon, this is a wonderful place to start. She will go over the ABCD rules of bourbon, and show you how to nose and taste your spirits. If you’re a seasoned bourbon aficionado, in the vein of JR Ewing and Pappy Van Winkle, you will love being in the presence of America’s spirit—and hopefully taste something you’ve never had before! Only 24 spots are available, so git your tickets now!
Tasting will be held at 6 PM in the Violet Room of Lost Dog. 🥃
Our tasting menu for the evening:
1.) Koval (our in-house bourbon for Manhattans and Old Fashioneds)
2.) Bootlegger (a New York bourbon out of Roscoe)
3.) Heigold by Rabbit Hole – a tasty bourbon from a chic, new distillery in Louisville, Kentucky
4.) Bespoke Gin by Rabbit Hole – a London Dry gin finished for six months in a bourbon barrel
5.) Old Forrester 1920 – A scrumptious bourbon by America’s first bottled bourbon, which has been in business since 1870!
