Join us as we celebrate the onset of Chinese New Year! It’s even more exciting to us because it’s the YEAR OF THE DOG! We have a very fun evening planned!

First, The Dogs (and paws): The Humane Society will be here in the Violet Room with adoptable pets plus their book of animals available for adoption. While you’re here, have a pint! We’re donating $1 of every pint purchased in the cafe or lounge from 6-8 p.m. for PINTS FOR PAWS benefiting the Humane Society!

Second: The food! Try some Chinese specialties! Have a pot of TEA FOR TWO with one of our three delicious new Chinese teas (we’re especially fond of the Magnoila Oolong) or our house made Sticky Rice Cakes with Red Bean Sweet Paste for dessert! Also, we’re featuring two beers: Empire’s Two Dragons made with Chinese tea or Tsingtao Beer. Our chef will be cooking up a traditional Chinese specialty including Scallion Pancakes for you to try if you’re in the mood.

Third: The music! Starting at 9 p.m. join us for three amazing a cappella groups from Binghamton University: The Vibes, The Crosbys, and Rhythm Method! Also DJ Frankie with some Chinese Pop mingled in with other great dance tunes!
